I possess a luxury apartment building in which I only rent to good Christian families. However, there have been more and more atheists moving into the community and the price of real estate has dropped dramatically recently. The problem is that these atheists make it well known that they are atheists, including protesting the use of religious decorations in public buildings for holidays like christmas and easter. What can be done about this?

if you have the cash to buy a home outright- would it be wise to do that ? or do you put a down payment on the home ... pay your mortgage payments .. and use the bulk of your cash to make OTHER investments... (of course you could lose money in those investments) but you could make more than your mortgage payments? any advice?

My dad is selling a property in France, he was unhappy with some of the conditions a purchaser made so told the estate agent today he was not glad to sell to them. The estate agent came back and said because purchaser has signed the agreement on thursday my dad was legally bound to sell to him as estate agent had got the price asked for. My dad has signed nothing and made his objections to the conditions before the purchaser signed on Thursday. Is my dad legally bound to sell to this guy? I know it wouldn't be the case in the UK but have no idea about french law, I am wondering if the estate agent is just trying to rail road my dad into sale as she has already be dishonest about who the purchaser actually is. If anyone has real knowledge of french property law I would be great full for any advice

I know that lending agencies typically want a PERSONAL guarantor or cosigner on a loan for a new company or tiny business (whether the loan be for real estate or tiny business); but will lending agencies allow an established Company or LLC with high credit ranking to cosign or guarantor a loan for a new company or LLC applying for a loan?

In the last few months, either a foreclosure lawyer or a real estate agent or an insurance person or a probate lawyer, who I met in person, made a comment about 'something" coming into play, if an inherited home was to be sold by the estate instead of the beneficiary. I can not remember what was said. Does anyone one know the issues with an estate selling a home? We're talking about a single will executor and a single beneficiary and they are the same person. So, no conflicts there. those details were known. another possible "person" who made some comment could have been a tax preparer, if the estate selling a home creates some issue, such as a Form 1041, etc.

I understand that I can deduct mortgage interest, real estate taxes, condo fees, and repairs. I have seen conflicting reports about if i can claim depreciation if my income is over $100k or $150k. Some sites say nothing about an income limit. I am trying to decide if I should rent my current condo and the ability to take depreciation is the difference between breaking even or a slight gain and a loss. Any help or resources is appreciated.

I am getting an FHA loan and spoke to the loan officer regarding getting the FHA approval on a home that we recently had inspected. There is some moisture in the basement. ***Another major issue is the main header is cracked and there is improper floor joist and main header support noted. **As Per the lawyer and loan officer this issue may Possibly arrive up after the bank inspects the home and we may have a problem getting the mortgage(any mortgage per loan officer). Should we take action to request the owner to fix these issues or just allow him to deduct monies off the price? If the owner will only deduct money off the price how should we proceed? *****(Please note that the owner has already agreed to deduct money off the accepted offer in which it is possibly not enough money for what it will actually cost to fix) Very importantly, what is the role of the real estate agent and lawyer during this process? This is also a main issue b/c we have no guidance from our real estate agent. Is the real estate agent supposed to take a main role in negotiating with the owner with these issues and informing them? Please help! Thank you in advance

I guess the only way to describe it is like those hot plates (mini stoves) you can take camping. They are made out of solid steel. I can't understand how you can prevent it from rusting. They are used everyday. Once water spills onto them, it soaks it up straight away. The real estate says that they are new, so it is our fault they are rusting. We haven't been cleaning it with anything special, as we are still looking for something to use. Do you think that this rust could have been prevented?? We also weren''t aware that it needed special cleaning. I'm used to the spiral type stove top. They didn't tell us it required special cleaning.

So I asked this question a couple mins ago, "What are the things to know about real estate?" I got answers that were no good, I even checked the links. So please dont send me links unless they make sense to a noob when it comes to buying and owning houses. My question, to be exactly on point, is, "What things do I need to know before I buy a home, What things do I need before I buy it, And what things should I have and/or need to keep the home without somehow losing it?" Please, I want answers from current landlords, not people sending links to other places thinking it will help. Please be thorough with your answer, cuz it kinda frustrates me when I dont understand and there would have been no point in asking this question. Thank you to those who contribute, specially to those who answer the way I asked them to...:)

I decided to move which is breaking the lease from the "old" realty company..i never signed a new lease with the "new" realty company, can i be held for penalties etc in the old lease? I was never notified until i attempted to pay the rent a new realty company took the property over, the new realty company never even notified me. I have heard that when a new realty company takes over a property they have to give you the option to sign a new lease or you have the op0tion to move. I live in Kentucky so the laws would need to apply to Kentucky real estate laws. Can anyone help me, they are trying to charge me four thousand dollars.

Will Obama use national bankruptcy to deprive citizens of their property ownership rights if they managed to avoid going on welfare, while people on welfare will just keep living normally? People on welfare don't possess property, owning real estate disqualifies you for welfare. Will Obama use even his possess failure as a president to hurt the citizens who worked difficult and managed to possess a home, while those who failed will not be affected?

My husband and I were referred to a mortgage company from our real estate broker. They are known to help people receive funding for homes that are first home buyers or people that have potential to pay on a mortgage but cant receive funding elsewhere. The person I talked to seemed very professional on the phone and got us approved for a FHA or USDA home loan in 2 days. He wants to meet with us to receive documents. He did not say what the interest rate was but I forgot to ask him.(I plan on asking him the next time we talk.) He said we can go shopping for a home and to not worry about funding because its his job. I feel like I should trust him to help us, but I am also worried that I am being taken advantage of. Because we are first time buyers, young and naive. They are a tiny mortgage company that does not advertise and their website states that the only out of pocket expenses are appraisal, credit report fees and the home inspection. According to this information do you think he may be a good lender to deal with?

Genesis 47:13-27 every I CAN SAY ABOUT THIS IS WOW!!!!! RECENT VIRGINIA CHURCH SERVICE-STIMULUS SERMON Genesis 47:13-27 I would adore to give the Pastor of this predominantly black church in Virginia a hug and a high five. This guy is obviously a leader. Perhaps we should each decide who our real leader is.....It is amazing to look that very little has changed in 4,000 years. ------------------------------------------------ Good morning, brothers and sisters; it's always a delight to look the pews crowded on Sunday morning, and so eager to receive into God's Word. Turn with me in your Bibles, if you will to the 47th chapter of Genesis, we'll start our reading at verse 13, and go through verse 27. Brother Ray, would you stand and read that great passage for us? ....(reading)... Thank you for that fine reading, Brother Ray... So we look that economic difficult times fell upon Egypt , and the people turned to the government of Pharaoh to deal with this for them. And Pharaoh nationalized the grain harvest, and placed the grain in great storehouses that he had built. So the people brought their money to Pharaoh, like a great tax increase, and gave it every to him willingly in return for grain. And this went on until their money ran out, and they were hungry again. So when they went to Pharaoh after that, they brought their livestock -their cattle, their horses, their sheep, and their donkey - to barter for grain, and verse 17 says that only took them through the end of that year.. But the famine wasn't over, was it? So the next year, the people came before Pharaoh and admitted they had nothing left, except their land and their possess lives. "There is nothing left in the sight of my lord but our bodies and our land. Why should we die before your eyes, both we and our land? Buy us and our land for food, and we with our land will be servants to Pharaoh.." So they surrendered their homes, their land, and their real estate to Pharaoh's government, and then sold themselves into slavery to him, in return for grain. What can we learn from this, brothers and sisters? That turning to the government instead of to God to be our provider in difficult times only leads to slavery? Yes.. That the only reason government wants to be our provider is to also become our master? Yes. But look how that passage ends, brothers and sisters! Thus Israel settled in the land of Egypt , in the land of Goshen . And they gained possessions in it, and were fruitful and multiplied greatly." God provided for His people, just as He always has! They didn't end up giving every their possessions to government, no, it says they gained possessions! But I also tell you a great truth today, and an ominous one. We look the same thing happening today - the government today wants to "share the wealth "once again, to take it from us and redistribute it back to us. It wants to take control of healthcare, just as it has taken control of education, and ration it back to us, and when government rations it, then government decides who gets it, and how much, and what nice. And if we go along with it, and do it willingly, then we will wind up no differently than the people of Egypt did four thousand years ago - as slaves to the government, and as slaves to our leaders. What Mr. Obama's government is doing now is no different from what Pharaoh's government did then, and it will end the same. And a lot of people like to call Mr.Obama a "Messiah," don't they? Is he a Messiah? A savior? Didn't the Egyptians say, after Pharaoh made them his slaves, "You have saved our lives; may it please my lord, we will be servants to Pharaoh"? Well, I tell you this - I know the Messiah; the Messiah is a pal of mine; and Mr. Obama is no Messiah! No, brothers and sisters, if Mr. Obama is a character from the Bible, then he is Pharaoh. Bow with me in prayer, if you will... Lord, You alone are worthy to be served, and we rely on You, and You alone. We confess that the government is not our deliverer, and never rightly will be. We read in the eighth chapter of 1 Samuel, when Samuel warned the people of what a ruler would do, where it says "And in that day you will sob out because of your king, whom you have chosen for yourselves, but the LORD will not answer you in that day." And Lord, we acknowledge that day has arrive. We sob out to you because of the ruler that we have chosen for ourselves as a nation. Lord, we pray for this nation. We pray for revival, and we pray for deliverance from those who would be our masters. Give us hearts to seek You and hands to serve You, and protect Your people from the atrocities of Pharaoh's government. In God We Trust... Are we on the same path as the Egyptians? The Israelis? No real answers--attacks are not answers.

A lot of Democrats—most Black Caucus members and many "gentry liberals" (to use urban scholar Joel Kotkin's term) like Mrs. Pelosi—are elected in overwhelmingly Democratic districts. This means there aren't that many faithful Democratic voters to spread around to other seats. As a result, more than 40 home Democrats represent districts which John McCain carried. Most voted no in November and would presumably be hurt by switching to yes now. Moreover, Mr. Obama's job approval now hovers around 48%, five points lower than his winning percentage in 2008. His approval on health care is even lower. Another 32 home Democrats represent districts where Mr. Obama won between 50% and 54% of the vote, and where his approval is likely to be running below 50% now. That leaves just 176 home Democrats from districts where Mr. Obama's approval rating is not, to borrow a real-estate term, below water. That's 40 votes less than the 216 needed. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748703701004575113292688090292.html FYI: Obama supporters saying you won the election doesn't mean you won these districts. In fact, you lost in these district so if they vote against Obamacare, in your possess words: "receive over it"

My the only piece of real estate that I have ever purchased is a single-family home that I bought two years ago and have only used it as a rental investment property. I have not resided a single day in it. If I bought a main residential home now that I intend to live in, would I qualify for the First-Time Home Buyer Tax Credit of up to $8,000? Or would I have to settle for the alternative benefit of the credit is $6,500 credit to current home owners purchasing a new or existing home between November 7, 2009 and April 30, 2010? http://www.realtor.org/home_buyers_and_sellers/2009_first_time_home_buyer_tax_credit Just took the time to official look it up. Ryan M's answer is COMPLETELY incorrect. The Federal Housing Tax Credit website states "Ownership of a vacation home or rental property not used as a principal residence does not disqualify a buyer as a first-time home buyer."
